Former Chief Executive of English heritage Simon Thurley is giving this year’s Wren Talk at St Bride’s Church, Fleet Street.
The lecture is on Wednesday 10th June at 7pm when the speaker will take a broad historical perspective on the planning of London from the Great Fire to the Blitz and ask what makes London like the other great European capitals and what sets it apart.
Tickets are £10 in advance online or £15 on the door.
Students can purchase a free ticket online and bring student ID to the talk.
